Applicants should possess registrable medical qualification with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). In addition, he/she should possess the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG) and/or the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). Published evidence of research activities and teaching experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be an advantage.

In addition, the applicant should:

  • preferably have had experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching;
  • have active interest in research and experience in laboratory investigations of Obstetrics and Gynaecological conditions;
  • possess postgraduate academic qualification;
  • be able to work with minimal supervision;
  • be interested in developing teaching and research skills in Genitourinary Medicine.

Applicants with adequate clinical experience will be given priority.
