VISIT BY THE MANAGEMENT OF THE QUEEN IDIA HALL, UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN LED BY THE HALL MISTRESS, PROF. AJIBOLA O. FALAYE TO THE VICE-CHANCELLOR, PROFESSOR ABEL IDOWU OLAYINKA IN HIS OFFICE ON FRIDAY, 24 AUGUST, 2018
Officials of the Queen Idia Hall paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka, FAS, today Friday, 24 August 2018 in his office to express their appreciations for the numerous benefactions received from the Management of the University of Ibadan.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof A.I. Olayinka, in his response, said that the face-lift of the hall as well as in other halls of residence was a justification for the rise in the accommodation fee recently introduced. The VC affirmed that out of the entire student population, only about seven thousand students live on campus and they have to be well taken care of while in residence. He appreciated the Hall Warden and the entire team, for the good work and the visit.
The team leader and Hall Mistress, Prof. Ajibola Falaye, Queen Idia Hall, appreciated the University management for the face-lift and the love showered on Queen Idia Hall. She said the team was proud of the administration for the hall painting, supply of chairs to all the rooms and the purchase of the 18-seater bus. She requested for more items which included the painting of external wall, water tank among others.

Present at the occasion were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation, and Strategic Partnerships), Prof. Olanike K. Adeyemo; Deputy Dean, Student Affairs, Prof I.O. Abiona and the Director, University Advancement Centre, Mr. A.A. Adeosun.
