UI HELD 70TH FOUNDATION DAY SERVICE AT THE CHAPEL

The University of Ibadan held a 70th foundation day Anniversary service at the chapel of the resurrection on Sunday, 11 November 2018. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, in his remark said "Our students are our greatest resort", encouraging continuous supports from the community. Earlier, The Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh, in his message encouraged believers Christ to hold on to Jesus and his word in this perilous time.

Prof. Alex Odaibo, the chairman chapel committee, also encouraged people to be more committed to the development of the society while the Pro-Chancellor, NDE Joshua Waklek, pleaded with the chapel to earnestly pray for Nigeria to Move Forward.

In attendance were, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Member of Council, Principal officers and the other university officials.
