2018 UI-TOWN CONNECT HELD AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CENTRE ON WEDNESDAY, 07 NOVEMBER 2018

The University of Ibadan at 70 continues with the Research and Development Fair (UI-Town Connect, 2018) Exhibition with a paper presentation by the Former Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC) and President, Global University Network for Innovation (GUNI-Africa), Professor Peter Okebukola entitled "The Academic as Public Intellectual: 70 Years of Traversing Gown and Town". The occasion was well attended with the presence of representatives from some secondary schools in Ibadan. In attendance were UI Principal Officers; Chairman of the occasion, Professor Emeritus Pai Obanya; Asipa Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Highness, Oba (Sir) Eddy Oyewole; Director-General, DAWN Commission, Mr Oluseye Oyeleye; Fmr. Commissioner for Education, Science & Technology, Oyo State, Prof J.A. Olowofela and Attorney-General and Honourable Commissioner for Justice, Oyo State, Mr. Oluwaseun Abimbola.
