Applicants should have first degree, M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Mathematics specializing in any area above plus at least 12 years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience at the University level.

In addition, applicants must have very outstanding research publications in reputable Mathematics journals that are listed in the database of the American Mathematical Society (AMS). Their publications must attract good reviews in the MATHSCINET database (Mathematical Reviews on the Web) published by the AMS. A substantial number of research articles that can be accessed in the Thomson ISI Web of Science will be an added advantage. Evidence of research leadership must be demonstrated. They must be able to initiate new areas of research and supervise students’ theses and dissertations.
