Applicants should possess Ph.D degree in Geography with specialization in any of the following areas: (i) Climatology (ii) Geomorphology/Hydrology/Water Resources (iii) Medical Geography (iv) Political Geography (v) GIS and Remote Sensing.

Applicants for the position of Lecturer I should have scholarly publications in peer-reviewed reputable local and international journals, and at least three (3) years post-qualification research and teaching experience at the University level. For the post of Lecturer II, possession of Ph.D degree in the relevant field and previous teaching experience at the University level as well as evidence of scholarly publications will be advantages.
