Applicants should possess medical qualification registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) such as MBBS, MB, ChB or equivalent. In addition applicants should possess Fellowship of the Nigeria Postgraduate Medical College in Psychiatry (FMCPsych) or Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians in Psychiatry (FWACP) or an equivalent. Evidence of research in the sub-specialty is also required. The successful candidate may be appointed Consultant Psychiatrist in the University College Hospital.
