Meliatu, is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Association of Nigerian University Administrators and Association of University Administrators, U.K.. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from University of Ibadan, with special interest in Personnel Management in 2008.

Mrs. Abioye joined the service of the University of Ibadan administration in 2006. She served at the Undergarduate section of the Admission Office between 2006-2012Faculty of Arts and Agriculture as Faculty Officer before being redeploy to Student Affairs Division where she currently serves as the NYSC Mobilization Officer.

Her interests are reading, travelling and listening to edifying music. She is happily married with children.
