2025/2026 UTME / DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION: PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEE

Candidates who have been offered admission and have generated their admission letters on CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) via the University Admission Portal: www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. The admission portal will open on Monday, 10 November, 2025 to Friday, 05 December, 2025. Please note that there will be no extension of the deadline.

Candidates who are yet to generate their admission letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Request for a refund of the acceptance fee will NOT be entertained.

Candidates are to upload the following documents alongside the payment of the fee:

PIN/SERIAL Numbers of WAEC/NECO scratch card for O’L results


PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Candidates are required to log-in to the Admission Portal using their login details.

Payment Options:

Card - Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card
Bank Branch - Cash at bank using the print-out from the admission portal to make payment at the bank. Candidates should login to admission portal after payment at the bank to reconcile their bank branch payment.

Candidates are advised to print their payment success receipt.

Important Notes:

* Consequent upon the payment of the prescribed acceptance fee by candidates, they are expected to present the originals of their credentials to designated Schedule Officers in the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance at a date to be communicated later.
* Thereafter, candidates who are found qualified at the clearance exercise will be matriculated at an impressive ceremony as bona-fide students of the university.

* If it is discovered at the clearance exercise or any other time that a candidate has gained admission with insufficient, irregular or inauthentic credentials, the university reserves the right to withdraw the admission.
