UNESCO TWAS FELLOWSHIP AWARD
Prof. Clementina O. Adenipekun, a professor of Mushroom science/ Plant physiology at the Department of Botany, University of Ibadan, has been selected for the prestigious TWAS fellowship for Research and Advanced Training under the UNESCO TWAS Fellowship. The fellowship is tenable for a period of three months at the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Namibia, Windhoek, Namibia. The main research focus of Professor Adenipekun is in Mushroom Biotechnology/ Plantphysiology. While at the University of Namibia, she will carry out research on Mushroom Biotechnology deliver lectures to students, and a seminar to the faculty. This fellowship will establish relationships between Professor Adenipekun and world-renowned scientists. It will also strengthen the ties between the two universities.
