Dear All,

The University of Ibadan is participating in the above survey. It is all about student engagement with an overall common goal of ultimately improving the quality and relevance of higher education in sub-Saharan Africa. In this regard, we solicit your full participation as the outcome promised to improve the quality of teaching, research and students produced in our Universities in Nigeria. Feel free to answer all the questions objectively. We promised that the information provided in this survey will not be shared with any third party. For the student engagement survey, there are two separate surveys for undergraduates and postgraduate students.

You are invited to participate in the 2018 Student Engagement Survey. The survey asks for your views about your student experience, and about how you spend your time. If you chose to complete the survey, you will help us understand what you value about your experiences here, and to help us identify and prioritize the areas to improve your experiences at University of Ibadan.

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to fill out and is completed online at your computer. [List any incentives such as a raffle for prizes]. There are no known risks or discomforts associated with this survey. Taking part in this study is completely voluntary. If you choose to be in the study you can withdraw at any time without adversely affecting your relationship with anyone at University of Ibadan. The survey is anonymous, and no one will be able to link your answers back to you. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the survey responses. Any report of this research that is made available to the public will not include your name or any other individual information by which you could be identified.
