SENATE REPRESENTATIVES ON THE SELECTION BOARD FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF REGISTRAR
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Pursuant to the provision of the Act of the University, and with respect to the ongoing process for the appointment of the next Registrar, Council has directed that Senate should be requested to furnish it with the names of two (2) Senate representatives to serve on the Selection Board which will interview short-listed candidates for the post of Registrar.
Specifically, the Act (1993 No. 11 University Miscellaneous Provisions 7:1d) provides for two members of the Senate to serve on the Selection Board.
Consequently, nominations are hereby invited from interested members of Senate who wish to serve on the Selection Board. Nomination papers are available in the Office of the Registrar with effect from Monday, 29th January, 2018
Duly completed Nomination papers should be returned by hand to the Office of the Registrar in sealed envelopes on or before 4pm on Monday 5 February, 2018
Election will hold on Monday,12th February, 2018 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Thereafter, collation will commence and election result will be declared at a Special Meeting of Senate which will begin at 2:00 p.m.
