5TH WORLD PANGOLIN DAY.

Pangolins are scaly mammals which are also called scaly anteaters. They are highly hunted for their scales and meat; hence, they are tending to extinction.

The 5th World Pangolin Day comes up every 3rd Saturday in February. This is an opportunity for enthusiasts to come together to raise awareness about these unique mammals which needs to effectively conserved as they are tending towards extinction.

The maiden edition to be celebrated by the University of Ibadan Zoological Garden is scheduled to hold as follows:
