2018 ERASMUS+ CALL FOR PROPOSAL HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

1. I have the pleasure to inform you that the Erasmus+ Call for Proposal 2018 has been published.  Erasmus+ is the new EU programme for Education and Training for the period 2014-2020.

2. Opportunities exist for Nigerian Higher Education Institutions (Universities or equivalent) in four main areas, namely:

• International Credit Mobility/Mobility for Higher Education Students and Staff - see in particular page 30-48 of the Programme Guide; deadline 1^st Feb 2018;
• Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees - see in particular page 94-104 of the Programme Guide; deadline 15^th Feb 2018;
• Capacity Building in Higher Education - see in page 156-169; deadline 8^th Feb 2018; and
• Jean Monnet Activities - see in particular page 196-225; deadline 22nd Feb 2018. 

3. Opportunities now also exist for Nigerian students to apply directly for scholarships in one main area:

• Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees: see the following website for courses that are available: https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/opportunities/individuals/students/erasmus-mundus-joint-master-degrees_en  For the deadlines you will need to check the websites of the higher education institutions offering the Joint Master’s Degree.
