The Nigerian Enterprise Challenge

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, in partnership with Inceptum Services, Lagos presents “The Nigerian Enterprise Challenge” The Challenge is a practical platform for students to have an out-of-classroom and real life experience in business and entrepreneurship.
The competition is set to take students through the rudiments of entrepreneurship. During the competition, participants will be engaged in tasks to learn various aspects of entrepreneurship such as Strategy, Sales, Negotiation, Human Resource Management, Risk Management, Leadership, Communication, Financial Forecasting, etc. These will ultimately prepare the participants for real life scenarios that they will encounter in the future. Participants for the competition will also be exposed to various internship opportunities and business grants to start up their enterprises on the campus
Heads of Departments are hereby encouraged to allow their students to participate in the competition which commences from Saturday, 08 September to Friday, 05 October, 2012. The Calendar is as follows:

8 – 18, September	– 	Call for Entries	
21 – 25, September 	– 	Semi Final and Boot Camp
26, September 		– 	Competition Launch
29, September 		– 	Advisory Board Review Session
5, October 		– 	Grand Finale (Wake up and Smell  
                                the Coffee

Interested students are encouraged to begin assembling themselves in teams in anticipation of the competition.
