The Establishments Division oversees matters of staff recruitment, promotion, discipline and welfare.
The Division has the following units; Academic Staff Unit, Senior Non-Teaching Staff Unit and Junior Staff Unit. It is headed by a Deputy Registrar who is responsible to the Registrar for the day-to – day administration of the Division. Generally, the scope of the functions of the Division is as outlined below:
- Servicing of Meetings of Appointments and Promotions Committees for Academic, Senior Non-Teaching Staff and Junior Staff.
- Servicing of meetings of University Interviewing and Assessment Panels for Academic, Senior Non-Teaching Staff and Junior Staff.
- Attendance at all Faculty Appointments and Promotions Committees including College of Medicine.
- Attendance at meetings of the International School Board of Governors and its Committees namely:
- Attendance at meetings of Staff School Board of Governors and its Committees:
- Attendance at meetings of Board of Trustees of Unified Pensions Scheme.
- Servicing of Ad-Hoc Committees that may be set up from time to time arising from staff appointments, promotions, general welfare and Industrial Relations problems.
- Initiation of and execution of policy decisions on staff matters.
- Attendance at meetings of the University Staff Recruitment Committee on all cadres of staff.
- Preparation of advertisements for placement in the University Official Bulletin and two National dailies.
- Processing of documents relating to the welfare of all cadres of staff.
- Initiation of disciplinary procedures for Academic, Senior Non-Teaching Staff and Junior Staff.
- Processing of documents relating to retirement and disengagement of all cadres of staff.

(iii) Staff Disciplinary Committee.
