Candidates must possess higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems and Information Science.
Additional management qualification will be an added advantage. Candidates must be registered with CPN.
Duties:
• Acts on behalf of the Executive Director in his/her absence.
• Provides leadership and direction for technical staff, desk officer and field support staff, setting an effective agenda and ensuring performance goals are set and met.
• Interprets purpose of unit programs, objectives and policies to stakeholders.
• Participates in the development of policies and procedures required for the improvement or modification of existing Unit programs and the implementation of new programs.
• Reports to the Director of the IT Unit.
• Coordinates the activities of all the groups networking together for purposes of, among other things, improved global institutional webometric ranking through appropriate deployment of University of Ibadan administration and academic information systems.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Director.
Salary: CONTISS 14 (N 1,820,908.00)
