A. FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY

I. Department of Forest Resources Management

(a) Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II/I

Area of Specialisation
o Forest Ecology

Applicants must possess Master of Science Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology with specialisation in Forest Ecology. Applicants should have current registration for Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology.

For Lecturer II position, applicants must possess Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology with specialisation in Forest Ecology and show evidence of scholarly scientific publications in reputable journals.

For Lecturer I position, applicants must possess Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology with specialisation in Forest Ecology. Applicants should also have 3 years teaching experience in a recognised university and show evidence of scholarly scientific publications in reputable journals.

(b)Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II/I

Area of Specialisation
o Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS)

Applicants must possess Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS). Applicants should have current registration for Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology.

For Lecturer II position, applicants should possess Ph.D Degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) and show evidence of scholarly scientific publications in reputable journals.

For Lecturer I position, applicants should possess Ph.D Degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) with 3 years teaching experience in a recognised university and show evidence of scholarly scientific publications in reputable journals.

Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II/I

Area of Specialisation
o Agroforestry

Applicants must possess Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology with specialisation in Forest Ecology. Applicants should have current registration for Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology.

For Lecturer II position, applicants must possess Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology with specialisation in Forest Ecology and show evidence of scholarly scientific publications in reputable journals.

For Lecturer I position, applicants must possess Ph.D Degree in Silviculture/Forest Biology with specialisation in Agroforestry and should also have 3 years of teaching experience in a recognised university and show evidence of scholarly scientific publications in reputable journals will be an advantage.

II. Department of Crop Protection and Environmental Biology

Assistant Lecturer

Area of Specialisation
o Storage Entomology

Applicants must possess Master of Science Degree in Entomology with specialisation in storage Entomology. Applicants who have competence in Integrated Pest Management techniques to teach and conduct research in Insect Ecology and behaviour as it relates to stored products and show evidence of publications in reputable academic journals will be at an advantage.

B. FACULTY OF EDUCATION

Department of Special Education

(a) Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II

Area of Specialisation
o Intellectual Disability/ Mental Retardation

Applicants must have registered for Ph.D Degree programme in the field of Intellectual disability/Mental Retardation.

For Lecturer II position, applicants must possess Ph.D Degree in the field of Intellectual Disability/Mental Retardation.

(b) Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer II
Area of Specialisation
o Audiology/Speech Pathology

Applicants must have registered for Ph.D Degree programme in the field of Audiology/Speech Pathology.

For Lecturer II position, applicants must possess Ph.D Degree in the field of Audiology/Speech Pathology.
