PROJECTS CURRENTLY HANDLING / COMPLETED

1. UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS EXERCISE:
2. HRM
   : The project is a very large one we have started working on it, we have captured the list of all university staff, the benefits of having this
   project completed is as follows
1. Reports or forecast of category of staff retiring in a particular year
2. Reports of staff with various qualification
3. All the paper record at the establishment division will be digitized and entered into the database, it will also contain leave taken,
   promotion, placement or transfer, commendation and disciplinary actions
3. Legal Section
1. The legal unit of the university has been involved with quite a number of cases, we are developing a platform through which cases can be
   treated
2. Staff of the legal unit can now have up to date of all cases being handled and the university management can access them right from the comfort
   of their offices
4. Vendor & Supplier Database
1. Various departments and units by items at various prices form vendors, we are compiling a database of vendors and their contact persons.
2. Request for quote can be sent to vendors and suppliers at the click of a button for them to quote for items
3. This will bring about transparency and accountability, this is the first of its kind in Nigeria Universities
5. Placement / Recruitment
   : We have now being receiving advert placement bulletin, and they have being placed on the university website
1. The next level is now that the university will be accepting request from companies who want to use our website to recruit UI Alumni
2. UI will also accept cv from qualified person through our website, it will eliminating the scenarios where cv get missing, shortlisting and
   notification will be done online
6. E-Ticket
   ; We have developed a test run of a ticketing and complaint application where various department and unit can have an helpdesk.
1. Students can get across to various departments to lodge complaint and wait for response
2. Staff can send request from one department to another
3. Tickets response will also be sent via mail to the complainant
7. E-Log Record (Vehicle)
   : This project has been started and there is progress, it hopes to achieve the following objectives
1. Complete record of university official vehicle to include picture both interior and exterior.
2. It will also capture all the details such engine number, chasis number, original and official number plate.
3. The application will also track the service history of the vehicles and also the fuel consumption history
4. The application will also track the history of the drivers assigned to the vehicles, and also the vehicle paper renewal.
5. Monthly and quarterly alert/ report will be generated to notify that renewal of paper and driver license is due
8. Institutional Repository
   : This involves setting up a repository server for the university to allow students to upload their project, thesis and term paper, IT report etc,
9. OPEN JOURNAL SYSTEM
   : A journal management system for research works published by the University of Ibadan

    -Learning: The university currently runs a learning management system, which involved delivering lectures and assignment online.
11. DIGITIZATION
    :-This is a project which involved digitizing all university documents that are almost going into extinction. We have a mandate to digitize all
    order of proceedings (1952 – 2010), Inaugural lectures, Senate Booklets and all documents produced in the University
